The Age of Innocents
The boy looking up saw his parents horibly mangled.
Their blood dripping from the kitchen table.
He knows not what he sees.
Huddled in the corner, a man sits there weeping.
"What is wrong, Sir?' the child asks innocently.
"Don't you know that monsters always cry at their kill?" the man replied.
"Monster?" the child looked puzzled. "I see no monster. Why are you crying?"
He looked deeply into the child's eyes.
He did not know. "Then I do not know." he answered.
The two looked at each other for another minute then turned and parted.
